AGM

We collect systematic information from previous OCs: their work, the preparations, difficulties, etc.
Giving Besançon OC information about sponsorships, fundraising and official grants. Set up a general review of the current structure of AGMs. Help the OC to solve logistical and budget-related issues.
Evaluate the online questionnaire and talks with the AGM OC about input for the AGM guidelines and the chair guidelines.

Objectives:

Country Development

Country Development is meant to help the network growth.

The main directions that the Working Group decided to take so far are: setting up ESN in new countries, strengthen the network in existing countries, foster the creation of National Boards. Countries lacking NR are encouraged to choose a new NR .

ESN Survey

What we have done so far:

**The ESNSurvey 2008 "exchanging cultures" is online.
This year, the main topic is cultural exchange, integration with local culture and people, adaptation to different cultural conditions, cultural shock and intercultural skills.

Knowledge Management

We want to find ways to keep the knowledge about ESN inside ESN, register knowledge and pass it on from generation to generation to make our work easier. We are managing the knowledge we have to our benefit, mainly through documents such as NR guidelines, NR checklist, RP/ CM guidelines, info-centre etc

Long Term Vision Working Group

National Representatives

National representatives act as the bridge between local sections and the international level. Together they make up the council of national representatives (CNR) which acts as the main presiding body of ESN. National representatives also take on many other projects which benefit local sections and have the tough job of keeping the communication running between sections in their country. Being a national representative is one of the most challenging and demanding roles in the network but it also has its fair share of benefits to counter this.

Procedural matters

Procedural Matters WG is intended to have a look at how ESN conferences (i.e. CNR, CND, AGM etc...) could be run more efficiently. Anyone can bring forwards a topic to look at such as debating or voting and it is the groups duty to discuss ways in which said procedure could run more smoothly. The coordinator has to insure that progress is made and then bring the results to the Board and the CNR, so that upon hearing the ideas, they can be voted on and passed or failed.

After the 20th anniversary, the Treasure Hunt and PRIME, we want to start new projects!

The idea of the Project Development Working Group to develop international level projects for ESN, as well giving the sections advice for realizing their projects. This working group is open for all ESN members to take part. We are looking for creative and courageous people to join us. What are you waiting for???
