National representatives act as the bridge between local sections and the international level. Together they make up the council of national representatives (CNR) which acts as the main presiding body of ESN. National representatives also take on many other projects which benefit local sections and have the tough job of keeping the communication running between sections in their country. Being a national representative is one of the most challenging and demanding roles in the network but it also has its fair share of benefits to counter this. Most national representative need a heart of gold and a liver of something much stronger to manage the intensive work and the intensive socialising that the role demands.

Italian National Platform
The Italian NP will meet this time in sunny Sicily, for a 2 days event organized by ESN Palermo.
At the same time will start the "Sunweek 08", so after 2 days of plenaries it will be possible for all the section delegates to stay few days more and enjoy the cool-summer ESN event :)
Alumni meeting in Siena was great!

The Alumni Meeting in Siena, friday 30th of May and saturday 31st of May, was a great succes. The were participants from Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, Czech Republic, etc.

Also this year ESN Palermo will organize the sun-cool-summer event: SUNWEEK 08!!!
The event will take place from 1st 'till 8th August :a week of fun, sunshine, music, culture in the beautiful island of Sicily :)

italian NP and national event successfully over!
While I was in Warsaw attending the amazing CNR, italian sections were working hard :) My Vice NR Veerle was there...here a report of both events.
The Italian National Platform took place in Kutro, in the region Calabria. We had two days of National Platform, 20-21 of may and it was organized by ESN Cosenza.
