let's start with EVS

As presented at AGM in Besançon, there is this idea of having several EVS Volunteers going from one section to another. Interested? Good, so let's get started.
Before we can apply for money from the European Commission to send ESN members from one section to another, there are some steps required before! Read more below and follow these to make a great project happening.

First step sending and hosting organisation:
First of all, get accredited at your National Agency (contact list below). Ask them about the national requirements and procedures. If your section is not in a program country. Contact directly the executive agency of the European Commission (contact below)

Attached you find two files:
- An empty accreditation form from the Executive Agency. Do not use it directly when you register at you National Agency!
- The filled accreditation form of ESN International as an example how easy the accreditation is.

Once you received your accreditation, send your registration number and contact details to vicepresident@esn.org. At this stage, you have absolutely no obligations yet and will not have any in the future if you don't wish to. The accreditation is just the key to open doors to the wonderful world of EVS also outside ESN.

Further information will follow once there is a database of host and sending ESN sections large enough to conduct the project.

What the sending section will gain:
You have the possibility to send one of your members to another section and make her/him an unforgettable time. Upon return you can be sure to have a hyper-motivated member full of ideas and visions. Moreover, you will play an active role in our network and Europe.

What the host section needs to do:
If the project will be granted, you will receive a volunteer from another ESN section. You should provide accommodation and food as well as language training and introduction into local culture. All your costs will be compensated by the project's grant.

What the host section will gain:
You will receive another ESN member who will work not only on an ESN International project but also for your local (or national) projects and activities. Apart from working for international students you have the opportunity to actively work with an international student during your preparation stage and the semester.
