I will attend the seminar: "Enhancing student mobility in a digital world" in Warsaw on the 11th and 12th of october. I have the honour to give a talk about the latest ESN projects.
Summary of the seminar
This seminar aims at supporting the objective of 3.000.000 Erasmus students by 2011 through discussions and exchange of best experiences on virtual aspects related to mobility during three stages: before, during and after (mobility). The objective is to show universities in the targeted countries (new EU members) how ICT can be used to enhance the quality of the student and the university experience of exchange, which, eventually, will help to increase numbers (influx and outflux) of Erasmus students.

In my opinion this presentation will be also a great opportunity to promote activities of sections from new EU countries among university officials. It would be relally nice, if officials could see also webpages of these sections. I hope it will encourage universities to support more strongly their sections, not just in ICT dimension
