This year, for the fifth time, Erasmus Student Network Poland is organizing Discover Europe contest - a nationwide photo competition. Every year the competition is more and more popular and the number of universities taking part in it is increasing.
Targets of the contest:

to look at the Europe and cultural diversity through the eyes of Polish students studying abroad and through the eyes of foreigners coming as Erasmus students to Poland.

notice the beauty of the surrounding world,

share the experiences from our journeys

improve photographic skills and develop own creativity

to discover Europe yet unknown
Discover Europe is another chance to create an intercultural dialogue, which has been strongly supported by Erasmus Student Network between young people for many years
Discover Europe step by step - how to get in?1. First of all you need to fulfill some requirements:
- you have to be a student (coming from Poland or studying in Poland in student exchange) or a PhD student
- you have to enter the webpage and sign in to the local stage of the contest
2. Local stage:

Sign up on our webpage and fill in the form.

Send us your photo(s) - you are allowed to send not more than 3 pictures.
There are 3 categories you can choose from:

Europe seen by a student
-
Poland seen by a foreigner
-
Erasmus friendships
If your photo wins recognition of jury or net surfers you will get the price and your photo gets through to the national stage.
3. National stage
On this stage the best photos are selected from winners of local stages by a professional jury. In each category there are 3 pictures chosen. Don't bother if your photo doesn't win recognition of the jury - there is still a chance that internet users will like it!
The final of the contest, conducted by ESN of Warsaw School of Economics, takes place on May 24th 2008 in Warsaw. An awards ceremony consists of opening of an exhibition presenting photos of final stage, a performance of Mimika cabaret, announcement of results and awarding the winners.
