The fourth National Platform in the Czech Republic took place last weekend in a small East Bohemian town Nachod. It was a great fun and full of Pallomeri spirit :)
More than 50 people participated - delegates of (then) 5 Czech ESN sections, 3 candidate clubs and other guests such as students from other universities taking care of foreign students there, AEGEE representative and people from the National Agency for European Programmes.
The programme was... hmm... fruitful :) Workshops, presentations, National Board meetings, icebreaking games, discussions... briefly - networking and sharing know-how and experience.
On Sunday, we voted on accepting or refusing the candidate sections and the NB approved two of them - both from Brno... so from now on, Brno is a bigger ESN town than Prague...(so we shall start working on this ;) The third candidate club was an international student club from Ostrava and we invited them to become our associate member - i.e. not a ful member of ESN but we will invite them regularly to our meetings in order to help them prepare for a ful membership (to gain more experience and knowledge).
So, finally, the Czech Republic is growing bigger - we are officially 7 sections!
