I want to describe to you the person who live with me…
The President. Giorgio is Italian… I met him for the first time in the NP of L’Aquila because he was the Italian National Representative… he seems so serious when you saw him… he knows always what to say… everything is organized in a perfect way and he can, in a simply way, explain all the topics… but he isn’t only this… he is really funny when he tells stories that happened to him and his friends… he can do very nice imitation... he is always friendly… he listen to you when you work with him and also when you just want to talk… and not the last thing, he his also a really good cooker! He can cook tasty dishes of the Italian tradition… not only pasta!!
The Vice President. Matthias is Swiss… he is my official “tutor” in my period here… also he, in the working aspect, is really serious… he has always something to say… just think that, in the points that we discuss every board meeting, there is a specific voice “small stuff from Matthias” because he always has some new ideas… in the life of every day he is really ironic… most of all when he joke with Agnes, our secretary… we spend a lot time smiling when they are together!! He is a good cooker and also a really good dancer… he take care of the girl when we go to dance all together and we want to convince him to go with us to tango lessons… I will tell you…
The Network Administrator. Andim is Turkish… She came here in September because before she was in Istanbul waiting for her VISA… She is really nice… and different from how I imagined a Turkish girl… when I saw her the first time she had long dreadlocks, black, red and green, a lot of piercing and some tattoo… now she cut her hair and she started to be more “serious” also because she started a Master in nanotechnology in Leuven… she his really extroverted and she is always smiling! She like dancing and have a lot of fun together going around in the city, I hope to spend more time with her…
The Treasurer. Kamila is Polish… she is the youngest one of the group… she is 21 years old but she is really a mature girl… she is a little bit silent especially during the first days in Brussels… she looks at you with her blue eyes and she smiles… she is really accurate in her work… she works with money J … but when she is not working she likes going around the city, doing shopping and in the night… dance, dance, dance! We like to spend time together!!
The External Relation. Francesca, she is Italian too… she does her work in every situation!! Also when we have to change a wheel of the Van or when she is flying around Europe!! Her work requires that she always has to do publicity for ESN, she finds always new ideas to promote our projects and found possible persons that can help us… she is always smiling and she has always something interesting to say… she is my “answer woman”... every time I have a question I call her and she explains me all the things… she likes dancing too and we are a wonderful couple when we dance together… two Italian girls!!
The Secretary. Agnes is Polish too… We live in the same house so we spend all the day together… in the office but also in the free time… doing shopping… having fun… dancing… to me, she does the most boring jobs, but she did these thing in a very good way… I remain captivated when, for example, in the board meeting, she has to write so fast for the minutes, listening to all the people who are talking… it is amazing!! She is almost always smiling and laughing in a really particular way that affected everyone around!! She is “very cooooool” and I like her veeeeeery much!!!!!
