This paper describes the development of a high quality information platform by the use of Web 2.0 technologies to support and enhance student mobility in higher education. It discusses the success of social networks and the role of universities. It describes the current developed projects by the Erasmus Student Network and how they can be considered as the key-elements in the creation of this platform. The paper ends with an example-project applied to the 20th anniversary of the Erasmus Program
I will attend the seminar: "Enhancing student mobility in a digital world" in Warsaw on the 11th and 12th of october. I have the honour to give a talk about the latest ESN projects.

A partnership, of which we both hope, that it will make both organizations stronger and that it gives a good product to the International students. For this partnership I developed a full package. I tried as much that I could to achieve both a maximum benefit for the section but especially also for the student

Because of the great enthusiasm and the willingness of the Belgium sections to make the ESN Galaxy project a huge success in Belgium a Satellite User meeting took place in Brussels. During this meeting we walked through the Satellites and explored all its functionalities. We made all satellites fully operational and link them with the ESN Galaxy and with the ESN Belgium Website.
Sunday 16 September 2007 was a Milestone in the History of ESN Belgium!
A National Platform was organized and 14 participants were present. They were the delegates of four Belgium ESN sections: ESN Brussels, ESN Ehsal, ESN Gent and ESN Louvain La Neuve and from our partner organization in Brussels, Express.
The Erasmus Day Brussels was an event organised through a unique cooperation between students from a Flemish and a French-speaking university. ESN Brussels (VUB) and Express (ULB) organized this Erasmus Day in the heart of Brussels on June 28th. We invited all the present, past and future Erasmus students who were in Brussels and beyond to join us in these celebrations and we welcomed the Erasmus Van at its final stage.
