Alumni Meeting – Siena – Italy 
The Alumni Meeting in Siena, friday 30th of May and saturday 31st of May, was a great succes. The were participants from Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, Czech Republic, etc.
The event sarted friday afternoon with a visit of the beautifull tuscan city of Siena, guided by Wilmer, president of ESN Siena. In the evening we had the honour to have dinner and celebrate with the ‘Contrade del Bruco’, which is participating at the famous Palio horse race in Siena.
Saturday morning there was a Plenary session, where the alumni discussed about how to get started with the alumni platform, and they tried to solve some practical issues like future meetings and defining their statute. During the plenary we had an atypical coffebreak, because there was no coffee, instead we could taste some tuscan salami, cheese and of course tuscan wine :)
In the afternoon we visited together with the erasmus students of Siena the Chianti region (form the Chianti wine), and some medieval villages. Marco Turra was our fantastic guide and during the tour we tasted a lot of good wine! We were even lucky to participate at a wine festival at Radda. Where of course we tasted some more wine, and made a lot of fun.
In the evening a lot of active members of different section of ESN Italy joined the alumni meeting, and all together we had dinner, this time at the ‘Contrade del Drago’, with a lot of food, animation on stage, and of course a lot of socializing! The dinner stransformed very fast in a big party!
Sunday morning the alumni meeting was ufficially over, but the remaining participants where all invited at Marco Turra’s place to have lunch in the garden with a fantastic view of the tuscan hills.
